The Radio Interface
The radio interface refers to all connectivity between a user device – phone, tablet, connected laptop or embedded module – and the network that is achieved over a radio connection.
This includes macro cells, microcells, small cells, WiFi, and methods of delivery such as Distributed Antenna Systems.
It also includes a host of supporting elements, many of them passive, such as cabinets, power supplies, enclosures and the like.
